The Integrated Electrical & Solar Whangarei based team is led by Master Electricians Wayne Jecentho and Will Renall. With a crew of qualified electricians behind them, Wayne and Will have a mission to create a friendly, local solutions-based electrical contracting company. As a team we will create integrated electrical systems, tailored to the needs of the user every step of the way.

Wayne Jecentho
Director | ElectricianWayne is co-director at Integrated, alongside Will. With 26 years in the electrical industry, Wayne has worked across some demanding environments – from mining operations in Africa to major port facilities in Western Australia. His background includes supervising multi-million dollar projects like the $200M FMG Belinga pilot production phase in Gabon and major construction at Roy Hill Port Facility.
These days, Wayne applies that same precision to high-end residential projects, specializing in architectural lighting design and luxury home electrical systems. Licensed in both New Zealand and Western Australia, he brings industrial-grade reliability, but with a natural flair for design, to every project. Wayne’s calm, flexible approach and genuine communication style put clients at ease. As a Northland local through and through, he understands the unique needs of the region’s homeowners.
When he’s not catching waves, fishing, diving or planning his next travel adventure, Wayne relaxes on his lifestyle block.
William Renall
Director | ElectricianWilliam Renall is a licensed electrician and solar specialist with over 15 years of experience across New Zealand and Australia. As the co-director of Integrated alongside Wayne, he is known for delivering reliable, high-quality electrical work across residential, commercial, and solar projects.
Originally from Northland, William returned to Whangārei to raise his family and build a business grounded in trust, workmanship, and future-focused energy solutions. He holds full electrical licences in New Zealand and Queensland, along with specialist endorsements in mains-parallel solar generation and electrical supervision.
From multi-million-dollar infrastructure like Brisbane’s Legacy Way tunnel to everyday local installations, William brings clear communication, precision, and pride to every job.
When he’s not working on-site, William enjoys spending time with his family and riding motocross – staying active, focused, and always practical.
Scott McSkimming
Electrical Supervisor | InspectorScott is a licensed electrician and certified electrical inspector with over 24 years of experience in the electrical industry. As co-director of Integrated Electrical & Solar in Whangārei, he specializes in high-end residential and commercial projects, bringing supervision expertise and quality assurance from decades of hands-on experience.
Scott’s project portfolio includes supervising the award-winning Putahi Park project at Whangārei Town Basin – a $5M+ development that won the 2022 Hirepool Construction Project award. He has also managed complex residential projects like the 700sqm Andrews Residence, overseeing architectural electrical design and sophisticated lighting automation systems.
As a licensed New Zealand Electrical Inspector with endorsements for mains parallel generation systems, Scott combines technical expertise with regulatory knowledge to ensure every project meets the highest standards. His experience spans from intricate residential installations to major commercial developments, always maintaining clear communication and precision throughout the process.
When he’s not on-site, Scott dedicates his time to Land, Search and Rescue operations, enjoys 4WD adventures and mountain biking, and spends quality time with his Wife – staying busy, community-focused, and always ready for the next challenge.
Chris Robinson
Mangawhai Area Manager | HVAC and Electrical SpecialistChris is our Area Manager for Mangawhai.
With 18+ years across air conditioning, refrigeration, and electrical industries, Chris brings a unique combination of skills to every project. He’s worked his way up through leading companies to become HVAC Installation Manager at a major Auckland sustainable energy firm.
Chris holds qualifications as both an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer and a licensed Electrician. His experience covers everything from residential highwall units to commercial VRF systems, chillers, and complex ducted installations. Also a Tesla Approved Installer, he handles both the technical and safety aspects of complex installations.
When he’s not on-site, Chris enjoys running, swimming, beach time with his kids, and exploring everything the region has to offer.
Laura Gray
Project CoordinatorWith extensive experience in project management and team leadership, Laura brings strong organisational skills and stakeholder management expertise to every project. Her background with major organisations like Chorus NZ and NZ Post has given her experience managing complex infrastructure projects.
Laura has coordinated critical projects including Emergency Housing installations for Kainga Ora and the Neighbourhood Redevelopment Piritahi project, upgrading internet infrastructure across Auckland suburbs. As a Prince 2 Practitioner in Project Management, she specialises in stakeholder communication, documentation, and budget management.
Known for her methodical approach and attention to detail, Laura ensures that every project milestone is met with precision and care. Her collaborative leadership style creates positive working relationships with clients, contractors, and team members alike, fostering an environment where complex projects can be delivered successfully.
Laura takes a genuine interest in developing her team’s capabilities, sharing her knowledge and experience to help others grow. Her commitment to excellence and structured approach ensures that projects are not only completed on time and within budget, but also to the highest standards.
When she’s not managing projects, Laura enjoys reading, walking in nature, and spending time with her cat Tootsie.
Jaedn Herbison
Electrician | Solar SpecialistJaedn is a licensed electrician and solar specialist with extensive experience across general electrical work, solar power systems, and heat pump installations. Originally trained in the Navy, he brings a disciplined, methodical approach to every project.
As both a Tesla and REC certified solar installer, Jaedn applies specialist knowledge to residential and commercial renewable energy systems. Known for his clear communication and genuine approach with clients, he combines technical precision with strong people skills to deliver high-quality results.
Jaedn’s positive attitude and problem-solving mindset make him a valued part of the Integrated Electrical & Solar team. Whether he’s installing a heat pump, wiring a new build, or optimising a solar array, he approaches each job with pride, professionalism, and a focus on long-term performance.
Outside of work, Jaedn enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and catching waves – staying active, grounded, and connected to the coastal lifestyle.
Anthony Lloyd
Electrician | Air-Conditioning SpecialistAnthony is a licensed electrician and HVAC specialist with over 5 years of qualified experience in both general electrical work and heating/ventilation systems. His dual expertise makes him a go-to for projects that require a seamless crossover of trades, especially in complex residential or commercial installs.
In addition to his electrical and HVAC work, Anthony is licensed by the Private Security Personnel Licensing Authority (PSPLA) to install alarm and security systems, bringing an extra layer of versatility to the Integrated Electrical & Solar team.
Calm under pressure and approachable on-site, Anthony combines technical know-how with a practical, well-rounded approach to problem-solving. Whether it’s rewiring a house, fitting out a ventilation system, or setting up site-wide security, he brings steady focus and professionalism to every job.
Off the tools, Anthony enjoys time with his family and skateboarding when he gets the chance – keeping things balanced with a mix of steady and fast-paced energy.
Conor Romley
Electrician | New Build SpecialistConor is a licensed electrician with a strong background in industrial electrical work and a sharp focus on precision and quality. Now specialising in high-end residential construction, Conor leads our new build projects with a careful, detail-oriented approach that ensures things are done right the first time.
His experience across a wide range of electrical systems gives him a solid foundation for managing complex installs. Known for being conscientious and customer-focused, Conor works closely with clients and builders to keep projects running smoothly from planning through to final fit-off.
A natural mentor, Conor takes pride in supporting our apprentices, sharing his knowledge and setting a high standard for workmanship across every site.
When he’s off the tools, Conor enjoys time with his family and heading out for a hunt – bringing the same patience, focus, and respect for the environment that he applies to every job.
Renee Montgomery
Office ManagerRenee has been the backbone of our admin operations for four years, bringing a unique blend of compassion and experience to everything she does. Her diverse work history has developed strong interpersonal skills – people are genuinely important to her, and connecting with others comes naturally.
Her leadership at the SPCA, where she coordinated a large team of volunteers with such team spirit that they won a national award, showcases her natural ability to see potential in every person and create environments where teams thrive.
At Integrated, Renee’s versatility shines through apprentice mentoring, HR, payroll, marketing, events, health and safety, and whatever unexpected challenge comes our way. She approaches every responsibility with genuine care, understanding that behind every task and interaction is a person who deserves to feel valued and supported.
When she’s not busy keeping Integrated running smoothly, you’ll find her enjoying time with her horses, her Husband and two grown boys, working in her garden, or sharing laughs (and maybe cocktails!) with friends.
